Welcome to this chapter of Police Quest, where you’ll be diving into tasks for the Narcotics Division. This part of the game challenges you to gather evidence, secure warrants, and take down criminals involved in drug-related activities. Follow the steps carefully to progress and complete this stage successfully.
1. Briefing
- Drive to the police station, then go to Dooley’s office and read memo from behind the desk (2,136).
- Go to the locker room and change clothes twice, then get gun and get ammo.
- Go to the main hall and return keys.
- Go to Morgan’s office and wait for a while (1,137).
- Go to the Narcotics office and wait. Get clipboard from the West Wall, and get FBI list from the FBI List Page (2,139).
- Return clipboard, then get keys from the West wall (3,142).
- Open drawer from the North wall, then read Hoffman file and get file (2,144).
- Do another safety check for the Cadillac (the car in the Northeast corner), then get in and go to the courthouse (1,145).
- Walk in and tell the man “I need to see the judge,” then say “I need a no bail warrant.”
- Tell him “This is an emergency” (3,148). Wait until he comes back, then walk north and tell the judge “Marvin Hoffman.”
- When asked if you have anything, tell him that you have the Hoffman file and the FBI poster.
- Tell him about his tattoo to prove that he’s the same person (7,155).
- Let the man escort you out, then drive to the jail and put the gun in the locker again.
- Give jailer warrant (2,157), remember to get the gun, then drive to the station.
2. Drug Bust in the Park
- Go to the park (1,158). Hide behind the bush in the northwest and radio (Ctrl+D).
- Load gun, then draw gun. Wait until the people arrive and start fighting, then use radio again (Ctrl+D) (5,163).
- Say “Halt police,” then walk to the man and put gun in holster.
- Cuff man (1,164), then read him his rights (1,165).
- Search man (1,166), look ID card, then look drugs.
- Question Simms twice (2,168), then tell him to follow me.
- Walk south, then question Colby twice (3,171).
- Drive away and use radio again (Ctrl+D) (1,172).
- Drive to the jail, then tell the jailer to book men for drugs.
- Finally, remove cuffs (2,174).
